Dark Chocolate Sesame White Chocolate Chip Cookies

This recipe is based on my chocolate chipless cookie recipe with a fun Halloween-inspired twist. Black cocoa brings a deep chocolate flavor and moody color, while toasted sesame adds an unexpected nuttiness that pairs beautifully with the white chocolate chips. The result is a rich, chocolate-forward cookie that's not overly sweet and perfect for spooky season!

A Very Herby Bean Salad

I never really plan on making this salad. It usually comes together when I have leftover herbs and vegetables sitting in the fridge that I need to use up. I always keep dried beans and quinoa in my pantry, which makes it easy to throw something together with whatever I have on hand. The only thing that takes a little extra effort is roasting the garlic. It takes some time, but adds so much flavor that I wouldn't skip it. This is one of my favorite ways to clear out the fridge and pantry while making something I can enjoy throughout the week.

Brown Butter Orange Dark Chocolate Cardamom Cookies

Nutty brown butter, fresh orange zest, warm cardamom, and dark chocolate come together in a cookie that's rich without being overly sweet. Rolled in cardamom sugar for a little extra crunch, these cookies have crisp edges and soft, chewy centers.

The Everything Green Steak Salad

This is one of those recipes I love making in a big batch and keeping in the fridge to enjoy over the next few days. It's packed with fresh herbs, plenty of green vegetables, beans, and grains, making it a great balance of protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats, and fiber. The ingredients are also easy to swap depending on what you have on hand. Canned beans work just as well if you're short on time, and you can substitute the pearl couscous with any grain you prefer.
